Parvez M. Taj (born March 11, 1977) is Canadian-born artist and entrepreneur that is now based in Los Angeles, California. He is a visionary artist and a pioneer of UV inks as a fine art medium. To achieve his original images, he freely mixes photographs, UV inks, water-based and acrylic paints with a variety of substrates such as aluminum, canvas, cork and recycled woods. Each of these pieces is an example of his out-of-the-box thinking and international inspiration. The founder of Parvez Michel, Inc. is also known for his use of eco-friendly ink and reclaimed materials, such as wood siding. His combination of objects with texture, water paints, photographs, UV-cured inks and even computer software all contribute to Taj’s signature style.
